  • Corn chips
  • Brown rice
  • Chili (we use vegetarian/vegan chili)
  • 2% shredded cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Green olives (pre-sliced)
  • Peanuts
  1. Dice tomatoes and onions
  2. Wash and tear lettuce
  3. Cook rice
  4. Heat chili
  5. Chop peanuts
  6. Have people layer their Texas 9 in the following order (omitting any ingredients they don't want):
  7. Chips, Rice, Chili, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Green Olives, Peanuts.
  8. Enjoy with a spoon or fork! The nice thing is that you can use the leftover chili to have over potatoes another night!
