I wanted to let you know that I took time yesterday to view your web page, www.cancerdietitian.com as I was asked by our breast care coordinator to address some nutrition related questions posed during her support group. I viewed your webinar, Nutrition Myths. WOW! THANK YOU!
Although I’ve been an RD for quite a while having worked in oncology for several years after graduating and again now at a cancer center, being able to easily refer to a site such as yours for confirmation as an educated professional that what I’m telling patients/staff is LEGIT despite being CONSTANTLY questioned is SO COMFORTING.
You are so lucky to work in a facility that allows you the independence to be able to record the seminars you present and make available to the community.
Keep up the great work!
Julie had the most engaging presentation style of any of the presenters. I enjoyed her energy and dynamics.
I learned a lot! And I’m not so hard on myself about eating. Her approach to the subject of nutrition was refreshing. Instead of promoting self-discipline so you don’t eat that burger. She wants you to challenge yourself to add more nutrition in your life every meal. So add spinach and tomatoes to that burger and put it on a whole wheat bun!
Wow! Evidenced-based and amazing. She didn’t pressure us to be obsessed with our diets. This was one of the best sessions I went to!
Fabulous session! Lots of informative content, down to earth speaker who was very well qualified and had good resources for us to look up later.
Please, please, please keep bringing Julie back. She is so knowledgeable and has such a balanced perspective that both motivates you to make healthy choices and lessens the immense pressure and guilt cancer survivors feel about our choices around food by validating the healthy choices we already make.
I attended the Cancer Nutrition Tips and Truths webinar. It really reinforced my own knowledge of the topics.
The presenter’s knowledge on the topic was great. This was one of the best webinars I have attended!
I started receiving the monthly newsletter and look forward to it each month.
Thanks for everything.
Thank you so much!
I’m so happy I stumbled on your website. You have been so helpful and responsive.
Thank you for being a genuine health provider. I look forward to learning more from you and your site.
Thank you again!
I love your website and all the tips and recipes. I started oral chemo 2 months ago and have read and read lots of things/books since my cancer came back.
I love the way you present information, clear and concise.
Thank you for taking the time to help those that are struggling to find information.
Thank you so much! After listening to your webinars/talks (one right after another), I feel so much better. You have provided exactly the kind of information I was looking for. Your clear, practical explanations help to detangle the maze of conflicting information that bombards the average health-conscious consumer. I look forward to investigating more of your website and future newsletters.
Obviously you have a passion for what you do, and I want you to know that you are making a difference in this cancer survivor’s life.
I want to thank you personally for your part in the “Multiple Myeloma Friendly Dieting: Sifting Through Science vs. Hype” webinar today.
As a patient, I really appreciate your clear and level-headed approach to nutrition, given our sometimes conflicting needs as cancer patients. I also appreciate your sensitivity to our preferences as human beings. (I AM a bacon lover.)
I hear a lot about specific foods and supplements that are supposed to have miraculous effects, but your more holistic approach makes more sense to me, and frankly, is much more palatable.
Bottom line: You are doing very good things for those of us blundering through our new roles as cancer patients. Please don’t stop.
